bom parece que esta para muito breve o lancamento do sp2 para o win xp em automatic update, isto é, para quem tem essa opcao ligada no sistema, assim que é detectado o win vai comecar a fazer o update automatico para o sp2 mas existe um pequeno script em vbs que podemos correr para impedir o deploy do sp2 nos sistemas, aqui fica as infos:
