Level of detail : Ultra high
Resolution: 1280*1024
Antialiasing : 16x
não consigo simplesmente. quando reinicio o jogo a resolução baixa pra 640*480 e o antialiasing desactiva. so consigo mudar a resolução se nao activar o antialiasing e mesmo assim ele so me jogar no maximo com os seguintes settings:
Level of detail: High
Resolution : 1024*768
antialiasing : none

Make sure all of your background apps are shutdown.
1) Go to start -> run
2) Type msconfig, hit ok
3) Go to the startup tab
4) Everything checked in here is a program that starts when windows does. None of these should be necessary for Windows to operate. Please take note which ones are checked (for your records later).
5) Uncheck everything
6) Click on the Services tab
7) Make sure the box at the bottom next to "Hide all Microsoft services" is checked
8) Uncheck everything in this list as well
9) Hit ok, reboot as prompted (if you receive a popup window concerning using your systems selective startup when your system finishes rebooted please click the option for "Do not show this window in the future").
If you are still experiencing problems I would like you to generate and send to us a system information file. To do this we ask that you do the following.
1) Go to start->programs->accessories->system tools->system information. This will bring up the system information tool.
2) Go to the top menu and select file->Save. This will save a file with all of your system information. Save it to your desktop. You can name it sysinfo.nfo.
3) Login to your account at http://activision.custhelp.com. (your default username is your email address, your password will be blank unless you have set one up independently)
4) Click My Stuff and then click Questions.
5) Find your current incident and click on it under the Subject column.
6) Click Update Incident.
7) Under "Attach Additional Documents to Question" you will see a Browse button. Click that and browse your computer for the sysinfo.nfo on your desktop. When you locate the file, double click on it.
8) Once the file appears as attached, you can now enter any additional information about your Incident in the "Results and/or Additional Information" field.
9) Click "Submit Update to Question" to send the system information file

Hello,
1. Navigate to C:/Program Files/Doom3/base/
2. From this location, right-click on doomconfig.cfg file and select delete.
Once you have deleted the doomconfig.cfg file, try launching the game. Let me know if this helps.

I did that and still does not work. I can change sometimes the resolution to 1152*864 but i can not change the antialiasing on the game. If it try to activate it, the resolution goes back to the lowest one. My monitor suports up to 1280*1024. And i can not play the game on Ultra quality either. And i should be able to do it!

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Ensure that the doomconfig.cfg is not set to read only. To check this follow these steps:
1. Navigate to C:/Program Files/Doom3/base/
2. From this location, right-click on doomconfig.cfg
3. At the bottom of the window that appears (the General Tab should be selected),
there will be and option to check or uncheck the read only item. Make sure that
item is unchecked.
Also, make sure that you have full administrative privileges and right on your computer. Lastly, make sure that your running the game from the shortcuts created on your computer by the installer and not from the game disk.
