Isso mesmo!
Uma news postada ontem no site Shacknews disse que Half Life 2 não sairia dia 30 e que só seria lançado em Dezembro. Inclusive isso foi divulgado para todos os sites de games, aqui mesmo na Adrenaline, foi postado isso hoje.
Pois bem, agora pouco foi divulgada uma nota dizendo que é FALSA essa news.'
De acordo com o site Gamershell, o próprio Gabe Newell da Valve disse que é FAKE essa notícia sobre o adiamento, e ainda informou que o game estará nas lojas dia 30 e que AMANHA já estará disponível a versão SDK dele.

'The release will still remain on schedule for Sep 30th. People who have pre-orded it via Steam will still get it before the Sep 30th but we are currently ironing out a couple of bugs, people may have seen Half Life 2 yesterday for a minute on it while we were in our testing stages (...) The SDK will be available for download tomorrow 2.00pm EST. Now you've heard it from the horses mouth so rest assured. More news to follow on Sep 26th so watch this space.'
Pois bem, de acordo com a nota, dia 26 sairá mais novidades sobre Half-Life 2.

OK, so now the Half-Life 2 delay has finally been officially confirmed by Valve. They're, "currently targeting a holiday release," which is the same thing Vivendi told us back in July.
Like I've said (endlessly), I don't care for how Valve handled this situation. They should have confirmed the delay earlier, not one week away from HL2's supposed release. I think telling the European press at ECTS (less than a month ago) that the, "release date is unchanged," was irresponsible. Good marketing? Maybe. A nice way to treat your fans? No.

That being said, dwelling on the delay won't do anyone any good. Bitching and moaning about it won't accomplish a damn thing. The bottom line is that Half-Life 2 is going to ship eventually, and it's almost certainly going to be worth the wait. In the meantime, there are still plenty of other games and HL mods to play.
