Boas,

Recebi hoje uma resposta a um mail que enviei no fim de semana pra Acer Portugal a perguntar pra qd estaria disponivel o Acer 2003 e se todas as lojas o iriam ter, ou se se teria de comprar nos revendedores deles. Eis a transcriçao da resposta da Acer:
"Gentil Cliente,

Considerando o seu pedido, lhe informamos que esse equipamento ja estara a venda nessa ultima semana de novembro ou no maximo a inicios de dezembro.Se o sr. deseja informaçoes de nossos acer point em Portugal, lhe pedimos que nos diga em que zona de Portugal vive,para que assim possamos dar as informaçoes das lojas que comercializam os nossos produtos.

Esperemos então que esta semana ou no máximo na primeira de Dezambro o Acer 2003 chegue às lojas.

Entretanto tinha pedido a um técnico de um conceituado site internacional de reviews (que já tinha feito o review do nx7000 1.6) para fazer a review do Acer 2003. Ele aceitou e enviou-me hoje o email a dizer q tinha acabado de receber o Acer e que ia começar a trabalhar na review.

Esperamos, portanto, ter essa review pronta em breve e sabemos tb que o Acer já começou a ser distribuido pelas lojas.

Eu fui lá no outro fórum e o inglês que já tem..postou as seguintes impressões:

Have spent a couple of days playing with my new laptop. Overall impressions are very good.

First of all the machine looks better in the flesh than the images. Suggest you go onto laptopshop

Build quality is very good (bear in mind I normally use an IBM thinkpad which is titanium reinforced). Screen seems to have a thin aluminium coating. It has a bit of flex in it if you hold both corners, but if you press your fingers on the back the image doesn't distort. The rest of the machine is similarly robust. The only aspect I'm somewhat disappointed in is the trackpad which seems a bit rattly when you click on it. On the other hand the trackpad buttons and scroll button are hewn out of thick aluminimum and feel great. The arcade buttons also have a firm positive action.

Keyboard is very good - no bouncy keys. This was really important for me and I'm not disappointed. Much better in my view than the Toshiba M30 which seems to have a really bouncy keyboard and I prefer it to the nx7000 which seemed a liitle too firm for my liking.

The screen is also excellent. Very good viewing angles and brightness.

The sound is pretty good too, definately good enough for watching DVDs.

Noise - I'm very sensitive to laptop noise. The first time you switch it on the fan turns on for two or three seconds and is quite loud but then it turns off and is pretty much silent. After a few hours it seems to come on more regularly but at a quiester albeit noticable level. The dvd drive can be quite noisy but usually settles down pretty quickly. The slot drive is excellent by the way. The drive is DVD-R in the spec sheet, although in explorer its listed as DVD-RAM?

Battery life - seems pretty good - not measured it but would not be surprised if it was getting on for 5 hours or more.

The arcade software seems pretty good although not sure how much I'll use it. It manages to fit DVDs to full screen.

Pois, confirmo essa data de 8 de Dezembro. Um revendedor disse-me o mesmo sobre a data de comercialização do Aspire 2003. Outra coisa que ele me disse foi sobre... PROMOÇOES DE NATAL! Não especificou quanto o preço poderia descer mas deixou claro que iria beneficiar de um desconto. Se calhar esta espera nao vai ser assim em vão. Ta,bém quem esperou este tempo todo nem da por 15 dias a passar.

Pessoal, aqui vai mais uma opnião...de outro comprador.. esse já foi um bocado mais crítico..mas isso é sempre bom:


I also purchased a 2003 WLMI yesterday and I can agree with Carrart on most points.

I have a problem finding a good typing poition though, since there is an unusual amount of space between the front of the computer and the keyboard. I just don't find a good position for my arms and wrists.

I think I will use an apart keyboard at my office.

The left and right knob around the touchpad aren't pleasant to use either, too much noise (clicking) and a cheap feel. So I'll use a mouse as much as possible.

These are the only drawbacks I encountered until now.

I agree the screen is excellent and the machine is extremely quiet, which I considered as essential

For my office applications (Word exell, Internet, Outlook express,) the fan never turns on.

The hard disk is quiet too, even though audible, but it's certainly the most hummed I ever experienced.

The hardisk is a toshiba MK6021GAS (60 giga/4200 RPM)

The DVD-RW is listed in Windows as a Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-815A

Battery is good for +/- 4 hrs

Ola! Pois e isto ta mal pa quem quer o acer ou qualquer alternativa (o m30 da Toshiba, que era mais ou menos uma alternativa, tambem nao esta facil de encontrar). Para quuem se lembra, a uns dias disse que ia a outra loja, pois eles garantiam que o modelo estava em stock...afinal n esta ...alem do mais e muito mais caro que na maioria das lojas...Bem, sem toshiba nem acer, tou a ver que so me resta esperar um pouco...
