Lexar Crucial C300 SATA 6.0 Gbps SSDs go on sale

Pushed back just a little, the RealSSD C300 solid state drives from Lexar Media (which is owned by Micron) have now become available in 128GB and 256GB capacities. The new 2.5-inch drives feature a Marvell controller and MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory, a SATA 6.0 Gbps interface, and deliver read and write speeds of up to 355 MB/s and 215 MB/s, respectively.

The 128GB and 256GB RealSSD C300s are backed by a three-year warranty and cost $500 and $800, which it pretty steep, but that's what you get for SATA 6.0 Gbps power (apparently).
