Acrescento ao que já foi dito que: "although strictly speaking ReadyBoost does provide extra memory the data held on the flash device is actually also present in the host machine's RAM - the intended benefit of the feature is that it provides faster access to this data for certain types of operations."
A memória na prática não aumentou nem o aumento de performance à conta desta feature parece ser significativo. Ou seja, é uma feature simpática mas não é nada de outro mundo.
