Comprei usado, um Compaq Evo Notebook N620c.
Como não percebo nada de portáteis, gostaria que me ajudassem no seguinte:
É possível fazer upgrade aos componentes de hardware (processador, ram, gráfica, disco rígido,etc.etc), deste portátil ???!!!

Podes meter mais RAM e um disco rigido com mais Gb. O processador não tenho a certeza se esse dá, mas já vi que mudar um processador de um portátil chega a custar mais de 300€ e não vale a pena. A gráfica deve ser soldada na motherboard e também não deve dar para mudar.

É uma ati mobility radeon 7500 32 mb.

Já agora outra coisa:
Deixei a bateria do portátil a carregar durante a noite, mas pelos vistos não carregou... nem liga sequer...

Será que tenho que fazer algo?! Houve uma formatação ao disco rígido antes de o portátil vir parar às minha mãos!
O que achas?!

A bateria tem que ser carregada com o portátil desligado, certo?!

Tu podes carregar a bateria com ele ligado. Experimenta ligar o port´til e carregar a bateria com ele liagdo. Deve ter um icon de uma bateria ou de uma ficha junto ao relógio do windows cá em baixo à direita, onde diz a percentagem de carregamento.

Tem o xp pro sp2 e os drivers do hardware (grafica, som, rede, etc.) pelas datas do drivers, não são recentes. São os que aparecem na página da hp/compaq.

Tu podes carregar a bateria com ele ligado. Experimenta ligar o port´til e carregar a bateria com ele liagdo. Deve ter um icon de uma bateria ou de uma ficha junto ao relógio do windows cá em baixo à direita, onde diz a percentagem de carregamento.

Tive a ver as drivers. Isto é o que a HP dá, por isso, são os indicados para o pc.
Se a bateria não carregar, se calhar foi ela que morreu.
Mas experimenta e depois diz algo.

Olá!
Já liguei o portátil e não aparece nenhum icone sobre a bateria...
Nas configurações de energia, aparece-me como bateria duas imagens tipo duas pilhas e uma delas tem uma cruz a vermelho por cima...
Será que quer dizer que a bateria está avariada?!
Se estiver avariada quanto custará uma nova?! Sabem?!

Mas o portátil tem uma ou duas baterias? É que é estranho mostrar duas. Ele carrega a bateria enquanto ligado?
