O router vai abaixo?! As ligações vão à vida?!

Também tenho um SMC e o Bulletproof instalado e correr permanentemente.
A maneira mais simples de pores isso a funcionar é colocares o computador que tem o servidor numa zona DMZ (configuracoes do router). Convém que no servidor ponhas (algures nas opçoes) qual é o endereço externo, pois só assim é possivel que os clientes se liguem em modo passivo (com o modo activo não há problema).
Alguns modelos de SMC tinham um bug qualquer com a porta 21, pode ser isso que te está a pôr a ligacao abaixo (procura info no google)
Experimenta outra porta qq sem ser a 21

SMC PASV Bug
Some SMC Barricade routers (specifically the 7004BR) have a bug/feature where an incoming PASV command is converted to P@SW and rejected by the FTP server. The intention of this feature was to make the client think that the server does not support the PASV mode and resort back to using active mode instead. In reality virtually no ftp client software will do this so all this feature accomplishes is to stop FTP server software from working even if it does have the features to support PASV from behind a firewall.
