parece que funciona mesmo estando em shutdown.

os únicos requesitos são na fonte, motherboard e na placa de rede, que todos tem que suportar o WOL.

In order for a computer to support Wake-on-LAN, the motherboard must have a WAKEUP-LINK header onboard, connected to the network card via a special 3-pin cable, and Wake-on-LAN must be enabled in the Power Management section of the motherboard's BIOS. Systems with on-board network cards do not require the cable. It may also be necessary to configure the machine to leave the network card active when the rest of the system is powered down, because the NIC cannot receive the Magic Packet in its off state.
Systems supporting the PCI 2.2 standard coupled with a PCI 2.2 compliant network adapter typically do not require a WOL cable as the required standby power and WOL signal are relayed through the PCI bus.
