As an added bonus, this will install on any given notebook with a Mobility Radeon 9600, 9700, 9800, X300, X600, X700, X800.

° Undocking the system with the lid open and a DVI attached no longer results in the LCD displaying a blank screen

Known Issues
This section provides information on known issues associated with the ATI CATALYST™ Mobility™ 5.9 software driver for Windows XP.
° The Apply button found throughout the Catalyst Control Center remains active and the confirmation dialog box for certain aspect changes fails to appear. However, user requested changes do take effect. Further details can be found in topic number 737-20558
° Changing the PowerPlay™ mode to either Balanced or Optimal Battery Life may result in display corruption and or the operating system failing to respond. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19826
° Enabling the Same on All option found in the Overlay Display in Clone Mode option of the Theater Mode setting in the Catalyst Control Center followed by swapping the displays by dragging and dropping the main display along with the HDTV display may result in the operating system rebooting.

O erro está nos gestores de dowload, (no meu caso o DAP) tem que se desligar, a página informa mal, deveria dizer, desative o gestor de dowload e não, diz desligue a firewall.

Vou testar os novos drivers, com os 5.8 tinha problemas de vês em quando ficava tudo aos quadradinhos.

Testei isso num acer 2023 e num 4002 e nao deu... deu um erro qualquer

Existe um programa chamado DHmod, que agora não sei de onde se tira, que permite instalar o Catalyst em portáteis. Não testei, não faço tenções por enquanto.

Boas, já instalei os drivers no asus m6. O que se passa no meu caso é nao ficar com a resolução nativa no pc(1280x800), apenas tenho oportunidade de colocar até 1024x768.
De resto tudo funciona bem na instalação.

é pa volto a dizer k do site da ATI ñ da pa sacar os drivers pa todos os modelos por enquanto, ta la a lista de marcas k da! Isto deve se á akele programa k sacamos antes do driver e verifica a marca e modelo k temos!
Se sacarem de outro site ja da na boa!

Onde é k viste os catalyst 5.11 mobile pa sacar sem ser da ATI! pk digo te alem do site da Ati ainda n vi em lado nenhum mais e como tal ele deve é ter instalado a versao desktop dos Cat 5.11 e dai os erros

Desculpa lá...eu tentei instalar os drivers do link k postas-t em cima (suponho k nn seja o site da ati)ms no inicio aparecem uns erros tipo "INF error, Video driver not found","Setup was unable to complete te installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before runnig setup."...como ja referi tenho uma ati radeon 9700 64Mb num 4001wlmi...neste momento uso o controlador k vinha no recorery disk...agradeço a vossa ajuda
