Sygate vs Windows Firewall

Boas.
Venho informar que, por muito que digam mal da FW do windows, a verdade e que nos testes online da sygate dame 100% seguro, enquanto que com a sygate, dame 2 portas que tao closed...... isto n pode ser erro, ja fiz isto tanta vez......... experimentem e digam os resultados.......

PS: Da sempre 100% no Quick Scan e no Stealth Scan......

atao nem penses duas vezes, continua com a fw do Windows!!

apesar de nao me fiar nesse teste eu sempre disse e torno a dizer ke a fw do windows a controlar o trafego ke "entra" nao é das piores mas o pior é o resto!

A FW do Windows não vos questiona basicamente por nada.. uma vez quando fui ao IRC.. já estava conectado e vem a FW perguntar se queria dar acesso ou não..

Seja como for.. nesse teste passam muitas fws..

Por aqui só se usa a firewall do windows (SP2). Nao digo que seja muito segura, mas serve para o dia a dia perfeitamente. Claro que é a minha opiniao.

a fw do windows é o que chega, pelo menos pra mim, só uzo essa o AVG e o ms anti spyware e nao tenho tido muita razão de queixa, já pra não falar que algumas FW gastam 100mb de ram enquanto a do windows pouco gasta.

Que firewalls gastam 100 Mb?! A Outpost só esta a consumir 10 Mb e é uma excelente fw (para mim.. a melhor.. juntamente com a Kerio)

Se não querem chatices com firewalls.. sempre é melhor essa do que nenhuma..

Epá... tenta com outros testes. Usei a Sygate Personal durante mais ou menos 1 ano, e foi achei espectacular. Nunca tive qualquer problema.

Agora uso a versao Pro.

Por acaso desinstalei a Sygate e ..... aleluia...
Arranque do sistema mto mais rapido, taskbar icons e memoria... 0 e pouca.......
Vou fazer todos os testes, mas n e aqui em casinha...... nao.... o trafego ta caro..... faco na casa de alguem ou na escola....

então, mas... FW do windows boa!?!? FW's que gastam 100Mb!?!?

Quanto à FW do windows, nem me prenuncio... Se à algo em NUNCA confiava, seria essa "FW"!

Agora, fw's que gastam 100Mb... Aí nem sei o que dizer... Isso é um absurdo... Já experimentei algumas e nunca vi uma que ocupa-se mais de 30Mb... E este era estupidamente pesada (só já não me lembro qual é que era)... Só para teres uma ideia, a Look'n'Stop nunca passa dos 10Mb. Estremamente leve, simples, e eficaz...

Quanto aos testes à fw, experimenta GRC.com ou o PCFlank e já agora depois diz os resultados.

Minha nossa senhora.. LOL.. agora deu-vos para comparar Firewalls (Sygate).. com pseudo-NAT's (SP2)?..

PS - Aquela "coisa" do SP2 só serve para proteger contra certos worms.. nada mais.. como tal NUNCA recomendaria tal coisa..

PS 2 - Já que pretendem algo mais "leve".. pq não compram um belo de um router?.. até poupam nos serviços que têm a correr.. LOL.. no entanto (e como venho a dizer desde sempre): "nada como usar um BOM firewall em cada máquina ligada ao mesmo".. mas pronto.. boa sorte..
