Por acaso conhecem o Tiny XP ? Está simplesmente brilhante !!!



Apesar da imagem, já vai na versão REV05.
O ficheiro ISO tem apenas 201MB (rev05) e já contém o SP2.
Compilado pelo eXPerience com o intuito de diminuir o "peso" do sistema operativo e dos recursos do PC.

PS: Encontrei um "tutorial" que nos ajuda a criar o "nosso" próprio TinyXP.

O nLite faz exactamente o mesmo.
Tu que, tanto quanto sei, já experimentaste ambos podias explicar as diferenças.

É um XP apenas com o essencial , para consumir poucos recursos de maquinas com pouca "potencia"
E bom para por a correr em maquinas antigas.
Nao tenho é muita vontade de fazer um Tiny XP ... preferia uma Iso já feita .. á perguicoso ...

E não é só isso, convém saber o que se tira ao windows. Acho que o tamanho dos iso's do tiny xp têm vindo a aumentar e já vai na 5ª versão. Dá trabalho a fazer, exige muito tempo, esforço e conhecimento.
Eu já fiz o cd com o nlite pro meu pc antigo mas não consegui fazer um xp notoriamente mais leve.
Antes fui defensor que o SO deve ser da mesma geração da máquina (tipo, pra um pc fraquinho, o win98se) mas o tiny xp, a funcionar como é devido o caso muda de figura

É capaz de ser o ideal para alguns portateis mais antigos e fraquitos com apenas 40Gb disco e 512 ou mesmo 256Mb de memória

The WINDOWS folder for this installation only uses 390Mb of hard disk space, the normal full install of XP Professional takes up 1100Mb of space.

This edition includes drivers totalling 8.32Mb of the 191Mb size of the ISO.

The actual size for Windows on its own on the ISO image is roughly 170Mb.
The included drivers are all integrated so that your SATA hard drive, motherboard chipset and LAN card will be working on installation.
Driver packs used are Bashrat the Sneaky's driver packs, which are finally a solution to unattended SATA problems that many people seem to have.

Only install this operating system onto a freshly formatted partition or hard disk.
It is not possible to upgrade, because the option (44Mb) has been removed.
To install this unattended version, simply boot from the CD and format the drive or partition you want to install to, then just sit back and wait 8 minutes and the installation takes care of itself.
No 'Product Key' is needed.
