@ s1nnless (raio de nick que foste buscar) - Eu acho que já tinha apontado que para a primavera/verão de 2007 a Nvidia iria lançar um refresh por isso acho que são boas noticias para quem não vai comprar uma placa DX10 já e quer esperar mais um bcoado.

Em relação ao numero de placas para venda está claro que a demanda vai ser maior que a oferta já que daqui a um mes estamos na epoca natalicia e a menos que a Nvidia tenha os ajudantes do pai natal a fazer GPUs a oferta vai ser escaça em algumas alturas e paises.

Mas quem está atento nao vai comprar uma 8800. Vai esperar para ver cm as R600 e o G81 se safa. Porque a propria nVidia admite que a 8800 é um "teste"

Pois mas quem está "atento" não vai para as high end.
Elas vão desaparecer no espaço de 2 meses e so devera haver nova remessa la para fins de dezembro, principios de janeiro. É que quem tem dinheiro não quer saber se vai sair uma nova high end daqui a 2 meses ou 3.

É so ver o que aconteceu com a serie 18xx da "antiga" ATI, passado uns meses elas foram substituidas pelas 19xx, e não foi por isso que venderam mal.

A referencia equivale a 8800GTS pci-express e não AGP, é um erro do site. Saindo alguma gráfica da serie 8xxx essa será abaixo da 8800GTS, talvez até saia uma 8800GTS 320MB, mas o mais provavel é sair uma 8600GT ou 8600Ultra.

We got our hands on the super new 158.16 drivers and we can confirm that there are some new features, but the performance is not that great. The driver is non WHQL beta and it is not stable at all times, but it works. It will increase the performance in 3Dmark03 by about twelve per cent and you can see a big jump in all game tests and multi texturing.

In 3Dmark05 you will gain some 500 points and you can clearly see that the driver does the multi texturing much faster. It is even 200 points faster in 3Dmark06 and you score some more in all tests, but nothing to be thrilled about. In OpenGL you lose a frame or two with or without FSAA and Aniso. In Fear you gain a frame or two here or there or you lose a bit and in Company or Heroes you win at 10x7 but lose in all other resolutions.

Como se esperava foram lançados novos drivers e a performance subiu consideravelmente tanto na serie G80 como nas series G86 e G84, muitos users conseguiram um aumento de 1000 pontos no 3D Mark 06 e em media cerca de 20 FPS em alguns jogos.

Os drivers ainda são BETA por isso espera-se que a versão final venha ainda aumentar mais a performance.

Uso os 7.1 e não há diferença face aos 6.11 que usava antes. Ainda não experimentei os 7.3
