A 8800GS é limitada, é uma placa que seria feita so para OEM mas que alguns fabricantes decidiram lançar, a XFX parece que vai ser a única marca a lança-la na Europa e mesmo assim em stocks reduzidos. A 8800GS vai competir contra as HD3850 512MB e o preço andara entre os 150/170$, a 9600GT vira competir com as HD3850 256MB e depois saira as 9600GTS e a 8800GS desaparecera do mercado.

Sim mas a 8800GS vai aparecer em tao pouca quantidade que mal se ira notar que existe no mercado e alem disso esta nao vem pa competir com a 9600GT mas com uma GTS ou então a 8800GT 256MB ve o seu preço reduzido e assim vem esta substituir a 8600GTS e a 9600GT substitui a 8600GT.

XFX GeForce 8800 GS 680M XXX 384MB revealed

Following Palit and ASUS, XFX rolling out 8800GS finally. The PCB is self-designed by XFX and using black PCB for sure, the cooler is single slot, looks better than Palit’s.

The card is clocked at 680MHz/1600MHz(core/mem) factory overclocked, and with memory chip made by XXXXXX. The product code is PV-T88S-FDD4, will Begin selling in some europen countries in Jan 16.The price will be around 160 Euro, about 238 USD.

To let you know how big the gap is between 8800GS and 8800GT, here is the quick comparison between 8800GS 384MB and a 8800GT 512MB, too bad it is a Palit version clock at 575/1700MHz(core/mem), we will have a test on XFX GeForce 8800 GS 680M XXX soon.

A 8800GS é uma placa para esgotar os G92. É bastante mais fraca que as HD3850 e as 9600GT's, que se encontram por preços semelhantes

Esta 8800GS é um link entre as 8600GT e 8800GT até vir as 9600GT, esta GS não fica muito atrás da HD3850 nem da 9600GT, até deve vir a ser superior a estas duas mas o seu stock vai ser tão escasso que nem se vai dar por ela no mercado.

n deve ter muito mercado. provavelmente ficou-se por um ou dois nichos de mercado. bom bom era se permiti-se soft mod, mas pelas rviews dá perfeitamente para ver que o bus é bottleneck, porque a resoluçoes baixas e sem filtros é superior a uma hd3850.

A 8800GS é claramente para escoar os G92 com defeito em alguns Stream Processores e que não se enquadrem na GT. Dai dizer-se que deve vir numa quantidade muito reduzida, deve ser tipo 2900Pro.

Não, nem creio que chegue cá.
Por cá ainda só vi a XFX de 384MB (versão standard e XXX).
