We've been down this path before; bets on when Sony will make an announcement?
Last week, we reported that Best Buy had leaked word that the 80GB PlayStation 3 model was being discontinued. Then earlier this week, the plot thickened as a tipster hinted towards it being replaced by a 120-160GB unit. Today we can add another ingredient to this tasty rumor stew, as IGN reports that a GameStop conference call to retailers once again added more credit to it. After the call, multiple insiders (with no apparent sense of company confidentiality) confirmed that the 80GB unit is no longer being made, and a 120GB replacement will be coming with a Dual Shock 3 controller.
With two unrelated retailers and a fairly reliable tipster all pointing the same direction, the rumor seems all but confirmed at this time. Lately, this has been a pattern for Sony announcements, with evidence and leaks growing to a point that any denial would be ludicrous. Then Sony denies it anyway, and announces it a week or two later. Keep an eye out, because if history is any indication, this could go on for a while.

O rumor já tem alguns dias e cada vez mais parece confirmar-se. Esperemos que sim, visto que já me decidi a comprar uma nos próximos meses
