Oi,
Encontrei esta informação sobre o arcade mode, diz qui que ele corre sobre linux:
Aspire 2000
It would be interesting to know whether this is the same design house that wrote a similar fast-boot Linux for the Acer Aspire 2000.
This notebook PC was a real show-stealer, and it is ambitiously attempting to be not merely a functional business applications notebook, but a complete Media Center PC, complete with a 16:10 aspect ratio TFT-LCD screen that measures 15.4 inches on the diagonal.
When users power up this notebook for the first time, it launches almost instantaneously into a mode called Acer Arcade. The Arcade is a digital multimedia environment running under Linux and includes such functions as Slideshow and PhotoView.
This aspect of the Aspire 2000 was indeed designed by a Taiwanese software house, according to Acer representative Campbell Kan, although for now, the identity of this company remains confidential. As well, there is a similar Arcade environment that runs under Windows, and in this case the software was developed in cooperation with CyberLink Corp. of Taiwan.
The display module is a WXGA resolution TFT-LCD unit, from Samsung and LG. In addition there is software enhancement of the brightness of the display, supported by a Pentium M processor at 1.7 GHz.
Espero que seja util,
